Heavy rush for mutton, chicken and fish at KRS Santhe

January 16, 2022

COVID precautionary guidelines such as wearing of face mask and maintaining social distancing went for a toss at KRS Santhe this morning as hundreds of people thronged the Santhe venue (right in front of KRS Police Station) for purchase of mutton, chicken and fish. Ironically, weekend curfew is in force since Friday night till Monday morning and even Section 144 has been imposed in the entire district.

Picture shows people purchasing fish on the roadside near Paper Mill Circle, Belagola hobli, on KRS Road in Srirangapatna taluk.
