Heritage Walk on Nov. 24

As part of World Heritage Week (2021-22), the Department of Archaeology, Heritage and Museums has organised a ‘Heritage Walk’ for trainees of Postal Training Centre (PTC) in city on Nov. 24 at 7 am.

Heritage Walk aims to create awareness about history and importance of Mysuru city, heritage buildings and architecture.

The Walk, which starts from the Town Hall, will pass through Silver Jubilee Clock Tower, Freemasons Club, Chamaraja Wadiyar X Circle, Chikkagadiyara (Dufferin Clock Tower), Devaraja Market, K.R. Hospital, Chamaraja Technical Institute (Kaveri Emporium) and culminates at Government Ayurvedic Hospital, according to a press release from the Deputy Director (Heritage), Department of Archaeology, Heritage and Museums.
