Mysore/Mysuru: Gayana Sabha, Mysuru, has organised Hindustani Classical Music Concerts at Ganabharathi in Kuvempunagar on July 22.

At 5.30 pm: Vocal recital by Amruthavarshini from Mysuru; 6.30 pm: Vocal recital by Vidu. Geetha Heblikar from Bengaluru.

Both the artistes will be accompanied by Pt. Veerabhadriah Hiremath on harmonium and  Bhimashankar Bidanur on tabla.

Amruthavarshini is a student of Vidu. Sharada Bhat Kattige taking advanced training in Hindustani music and of Ambaprasad in Karnatak music. She has performed at various reputed Sangeetha sabhas, temples and cultural organisations.

Vidu. Geetha is a disciple of Pt. Sangameshwara Gurav and Pt. Kaivalya Kumar Gurav of Dharwad. She has won many awards including Tamankar Award, Anna Saheb Karale Award & Dr. Vasant Rao Deshpande Sangeet Award. Vidu. Geetha has performed on prestigious platforms all over Karnataka and India.
