Mysuru: R. Hitha Nandan has won first prize in both kata and kumite events at the National-level Open Karate Championship – 2026 organised by Master Karate Academy at Bhramarambha Kalyana Mantap in Kollegal recently.

A 7th std. student of BGS School at Kuvempunagar in city, Hitha is the daughter of Ravinandan and Vandana, residents of K.G. Koppal. She is currently undergoing training at Goju Ryu Karate Do Academy in Kuvempunagar.
