Homage to blast victims

Mysuru:  JD(S) members paid homage to over 290 people, killed in bomb blasts in Sri Lanka recently by assembling in front of Gandhiji’s bust near city Law Court last evening and holding lit candles.

Leading the team, JD(S) leader Ajay Shastri said that eight from the State were among the killed. He observed that terrorism was taking a heavy toll all over the world and sought the intervention of United Nations to take stern measures against terrorism.

The participants shouted slogans aganist terrorism.

JD(S) leaders Girish Gowda, Prakash Priyadarshan, Boregowda, Sathish Gowda, Ramesh, Radhakrishna, Yadunandan, Srikanth Kashyap, Shivakumar, Deepak, Vignesh and others were present.
