Mysore/Mysuru: Home Minister Araga Jnanendra will be arriving in the city on the evening of Sept. 27 for a two-day tour of Mysuru.
Jnanendra, who will arrive by road from Bengaluru at 7.30 pm on Sept. 27, will stay for the night in the city. On Sept. 28, the Home Minister will take part in the Passing Out Parade (Peel-off Parade) of the sixth batch of Women Civil Police Constables to take place at DAR Parade Grounds in Jyothinagar at 8.30 am. ADGP (Training) P. Harishekaran will be present.
Later, Jnanendra will inaugurate the ‘Self-defence Skills’ training programme for girl students organised under the aegis of KSRP 5th Battalion at KSRP Parade Grounds on Lalitha Mahal Road at 11.30 am.
Thereafter, the Home Minister will hold a review meeting at the office of the City Police Commissioner at 12.15 pm.
Later in the afternoon, he will take part in the programme organised for making Vidyaranyapuram Police Station, a Zero-Crime Police Station in a year under the concept of ‘People-friendly Policing’ at Vidyaranyapuram Police Station in J.P. Nagar at 3.30 pm. KR MLA S.A. Ramdas will be present.
After completing all his schedules in the city, the Home Minister will leave for Bengaluru by road at 6.30 pm.
