Hootagalli CMC and four Town Panchayats formed: Govt. issues Gazette notification

Mysuru: Days after the State Cabinet approved the formation of Hootagalli City Municipal Council (CMC) and Bogadi, Srirampura, Rammanahalli and Kadakola Town Panchayats, the Government on Monday made it official by notifying the same in the State Gazette.

The Hootagalli CMC has been formed with the inclusion of  Koorgalli, Hinkal, Hootagalli and Belavadi Gram Panchayats (GPs), while  the existing Bogadi, Srirampura, Rammanahalli and Kadakola GPs have been upgraded as Town Panchayats. 

The Hootagalli CMC and the four Town Panchayats have come into effect from the date of notification (Nov. 23) in the State Gazette.

Hootagalli CMC

The Hootagalli CMC comprises Koorgalli, Hootagalli, Belavadi and Hinkal GPs, Hebbal Industrial Area and other minor areas, totally covering an area of  28.48 square kms.
