700 grams gold ornaments and two mobile phones recovered

Mysuru: The City Crime Branch Police arrested two house burglars and recovered from them 700 grams gold ornaments and two mobile phones. The two arrested are Yogesh, 26, son of Hanumanthu, a resident of Honnegudi Block, Hootagalli and Ravi, 21, son of Venkatesh, also a resident of Hootagalli.

The duo had burgled 12 houses in Vijayanagar Police limits and sold some of the gold ornaments and pledged a few in Mannapuram, Nanjangud and Periyapatna. During interrogation, it came to light that they were involved in 14 incidents. They will be produced before the court on June 12.

CCB Assistant Commissioner of Police C. Gopal, led the team that included Inspector Prakash, Sub-Inspector Jayasheela, ASIs Vijaykumar, Raju and Constables Ramaswamy, Umesh, Anand and Chikkanna.
