Mysore/Mysuru: Miscreants have decamped with gold ornaments, silver articles and other items from a house at Doctors’ Corner in Gokulam here.

The burglary took place at the house of one Sushanth Kumar. On Feb.18 (Tuesday) at about 7.50 am, Sushanth left for work after locking the house and when he returned at about 2.50 pm on Friday, he found the lock of the front door broken and the door forcibly opened. 

When he inspected the house, Sushanth found the almirah kept in the bedroom forcibly opened and 14 grams gold bracelet, silver Ganesha and Lakshmi idols, ATM cards kept in the almirah stolen.

V.V. Puram Police, led by Inspector Vinay, rushed to the house and conducted mahazar. Fingerprint experts and the Dog Squad were also pressed into service.

V.V. Puram Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
