Miscreants set fire to Gas agency

Mandya: Key documents of a Domestic Gas (LPG) Distribution Agency was destroyed when a few miscreants set fire to its office at Bindahalli in Pandavapura Taluk on Friday night.

The  fire destroyed documents and a computer in the office of Eshwari Gas Agency. Fire fighters from Pandavapura, who rushed to the spot, doused the fire before it could engulf into the adjacent LPG cylinder godown, thus averting a major fire tragedy.

The agency owner Rajesh said that most of the documents in the office have been gutted by the fire allegedly set by miscreants. However, the fire was doused before it could spread to the adjoining godown, he added.
