House burgled at BEML Layout

Mysore/Mysuru: Miscreants have looted gold jewellery from a house in BEML Layout and the burglary came to light when the house owner returned home yesterday afternoon.

The burglary took place at the house of one Dinakar and burglars have made away with about 140 grams gold ornaments from the house.

On Jan. 29, Dinakar had locked the house and had gone out of station. When he came back yesterday afternoon, he found the front door forcibly opened and on inspecting the house, Dinakar found about 140 grams gold ornaments missing and immediately informed the jurisdictional Saraswathipuram Police.

Police said that they inspected the house along with the dog squad and fingerprint experts, registered a case and are investigating.
