Man injured after falling from bike, succumbs at hospital

Mysore/Mysuru: A pillion rider, who was undergoing treatment at K.R. Hospital after he fell from the bike and sustained injuries, has succumbed to injuries on Sunday night.

The deceased is Arkesh (37), son of Chikkabasavachari of Chikkade village in Pandavapura.

About 15 days ago, Arkesh, who was riding pillion with his friend Santosh riding the bike, was proceeding from Pandavapura. When they neared Devegowdana Koppal Circle on Mandya Road, Santosh is said to have applied the brakes suddenly resulting in Arkesh falling from the bike and sustaining serious injuries.

Arkesh was immediately rushed to Pandavapura General Hospital, where he was provided first-aid and was later admitted to K.R. Hospital. But Arkesh succumbed to injuries on Sunday night, according to Pandavapura Police, who have registered a case.
