Mysore/Mysuru: Burglars, who gained entry into a locked house at Railway Layout in Metagalli Police limits in broad daylight on Saturday, have decamped with Rs. 5 lakh cash which was kept to pay hospital bill.

The burglary took place at the house of Jyothi, who had locked the house at about 10 am and had gone out. The burglary came to light when Jyothi returned home at about 2 pm. It is learnt that Jyothi had kept Rs. 5 lakh cash in the house to pay the hospital bill of a relative. Metagalli Police are investigating.
