House burgled in R.K. Nagar

Mysuru: Miscreants, who gained entry into a locked house at Ramakrishnanagar (R.K. Nagar), have decamped with cash and valuables worth lakhs of rupees from the house. The burglary took place at the house of one Veena Ganesh located on the 18th Cross in the locality.

On Oct.16, Veena along with her husband Y.S. Ganesh had gone to Bengaluru after locking the house. When they returned on Oct.20, they found the front door of the house forcibly opened. On entering the house, they found the almirah also open and on inspecting, they found the gold ornaments weighing about 214 grams, silver articles about 4 kg, Rs.18,000 cash and 10 watches of various companies stolen and immediately lodged a complaint at Kuvempunagar Police Station. Kuvempunagar Police have registered a case and are investigating.
