Rider succumbs to injuries at hospital

Mysuru: A bike rider, who had sustained severe head injuries after falling from his bike and was admitted to a private hospital in city, breathed his last on Monday, after failing to respond to the treatment.

The deceased is Nishanth Urs (34), an employee of a private firm and a resident of Dattagalli here. On Sunday night, Nishanth was proceeding on Krishna Vilas Road when he lost control of the bike and fell down resulting in him suffering from serious head injuries. Devaraja Traffic Police, who rushed to the spot, had admitted him to a private hospital, but Nishanth breathed his last yesterday, according to the Police.

A case has been registered at Devaraja Traffic Police Station in this regard.
