House burgled in Rajivnagar

Mysore/Mysuru: House burglars, who broke into a house in Rajivnagar 1st Stage, 7th Cross, have decamped with gold ornaments worth Rs. 1.40 lakh from the house.

The burglary took place at the house of 71-year-old Abdul Sattar. On Aug. 21, Abdul Sattar, along with his wife had gone to their son’s residence in Bengaluru and returned on Sept. 5 afternoon only to find the front door forcibly opened. When they examined the house, the burglary came to light. Udayagiri Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
