Mysore/Mysuru: In separate cases, miscreants have burgled gold jewellery, mobile phones, laptop and cash from an apartment in Saraswathipuram and from a house at Siddalingapura

In the first case, miscreants, who gained entry into a flat of an apartment in Bogadi, have decamped with gold jewellery from the flat.

The burglary took place at the flat of B.V. Sudhanva and Latha Sudhanva couple. On Sept. 1, the couple, who had gone to Raghavendra Mutt at Mugur, returned in the night. Latha, who removed the gold jewellery she was wearing, kept the jewellery in the cupboard on the ground floor and went to bed on the first floor.

It is learnt that the couple did not lock the rear door of the flat and the burglars, who entered the flat through the rear door, decamped with the jewels. The theft came to light on Sept. 2 morning and the couple lodged a Police complaint.
