September 5, 2023

Mysore/Mysuru: Miscreants have stolen two CCTV cameras and a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) installed in the place belonging to Vismaya Advertisement agency in Hebbal.

Prakash Chikkapalya, proprietor of the advertisement agency, owns a vacant place near Shubhodini Convention Hall close to Paramount Apartments in Hebbal and has constructed a compound wall around it with a room inside.

He had stored advertisement materials in the vacant place and had installed eight CCTV cameras for security. He had kept the DVR in the room.

On Aug. 26 evening, Manju, an employee of Prakash, locked the room, gate and handed over the keys to Prakash. On Sept. 2, when another employee went to the place, he saw two CCTV cameras and the DVR stolen. The locks of both the room and gate were found intact.

A case has been registered at Hebbal Police Station.
