Hunsur: Varnit Negi, a 2019 batch IAS Officer took over as the new Hunsur Sub-Division Assistant Commissioner here yesterday. He replaces Veena, who has been transferred.

Speaking after taking charge, Negi, a native of Chhattisgarh  sought the co-operation of all levels of Government staff for bringing a name for Hunsur Sub-Division. 

Appealing the people to extend the same co-operation as shown to the outgoing AC Veena, he sought suggestions from Veena, a senior officer, on the works that need to be done for the betterment of the people of the sub-division.

The outgoing AC Veena was given a warm send off. 

Saragur Tahsildar Cheluvaraju, K.R. Nagar Tahsildar Santosh, H.D. Kote Tahsildar Nargund, Hunsur Tahsildar Basavaraju, Deputy Tahsildar Shakeela Banu and others were present.
