II PU evaluation: PU Board serves notices to absentees

Mysuru: PU Education Board is said to have served notices to evaluators who have absented for evaluation work of second PU examination answer scripts which commenced from Monday last.

A shortage of evaluators was reportedly observed on the first day of evaluation work itself which commenced simultaneously at 53 centres in the State. Totally, 24,054 lecturers were deputed for evaluation work but only 16,000 of them reportedly turned up at the centres for work.
