Illegal LPG refilling unit raided

Three arrested, weighing machine and other equipments seized

Mysuru: The City Crime Branch (CCB) Police, acting on a tip off that illegal LPG refilling was taking place at a house in AJ Block of N.R. Mohalla, raided the place and have arrested three persons besides seizing various equipments and LPG cylinders from the house.

The arrested persons have been identified as Mehboob Pasha, Mohammed and Fayaz Shariff, all residents of    N.R. Mohalla here.

Following the tip off, CCB Inspector Prasanna Kumar, Udayagiri SI Jayakeerthi and Food Inspector Chandraiah and staff raided the place and arrested the three besides seizing one 12 kg LPG cylinder, one 8 kg cylinder, weighing machine and refilling equipments from the house.

The three were produced before a Court, which has remanded them to judicial custody. A case has been registered at Udayagiri Police Station in this regard.
