India F5 Futures Men’s Tennis Tournament: Suraj enters pre-quarterfinals

Mysuru lad Suraj R. Prabodh, taking part in the India F5 Futures $15,000 ITF Men’s Tennis Tournament at KSLTA Courts in Bengaluru yesterday, scored a convincing win in the first round men’s singles match and entered the pre-quarterfinals.

Suraj playing a consistent game beat Kunal Anand of India 6-2, 6-4 and sailed into the next round. In the pre-quarterfinals Suraj R. Prabodh will meet Sidharth Rawat, who is seeded seventh in the tournament.

Mysuru’s C. Vasisht and S.D. Prajwal Dev have entered the men’s doubles quarter-finals and will take on second seeded Chandril Sood and Lakshith Sood in the last eight stage today.
