Instead of sending me to jail, let Yeddyurappa protect himself: CM

August 20, 2017

Even as Yeddyurappa and other BJP leaders launched an all out attack against the Congress, accusing it of targeting Opposition leaders, Chief Minister Siddharamaiah has said that Yeddyurappa should look to protect himself from landing in jail once again, instead of saying that he (BSY) would send him (Siddharamaiah) to jail.

Speaking to press persons at Bengaluru yesterday before leaving for Tumakuru to attend a host of programmes, Siddharamaiah said that Yeddyurappa was dreaming to become the Chief Minister again.

Claiming that Yeddyurappa had launched an all out attack against him after BJP National President Amit Shah’s recent 3-day visit to Bengaluru, the CM said, Yeddyurappa should first come clean on the land denotification allegations against him.

Siddharamaiah took the BJP leaders to task for seeking the resignation of Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi, months after he was raided by Income Tax officials.
