Mysore/Mysuru: As part of Children’s’ Day, Mysore Art Gallery had organised felicitation programme and interaction meet with talented children at the Gallery premises on Ramanuja Road here recently.

Child achievers Shrestha S. Juptimath, M. Mahendra Prasad and G.S. Nandeesh took part in the interaction meet.

Speaking after inaugurating the 53rd Interaction Meet organised by the Mysore Art Gallery, senior theatre and makeup artist B.M. Ramachandra congratulated the young achievers and blessed them to soar more higher in the sky. 

Multi-talented Shrestha S. Juptimath shared his experience working in TV and cinema. M. Mahendra Prasad of Drama Juniors fame and G.S. Nandeesh also interacted with the audience.

Later, prizes were distributed to meritorious children of Government Schools who have scored high marks. A two-day painting expo was also organised at the venue, which featured paintings of artist Nandeesh. 

Recipient of this year’s Rajyotsava award, Editor of Sadhvi newspaper C. Maheshwaran, Founder of Mysore Art Gallery L. Shivalingappa, Secretary Dr. Jamunarani Mirle, Convenor Srikantamurty, Rajashekhar Kadamba, Chandrashekhar, retired teacher Sangappa, Munirao Mane and others were present.
