Intl. Conference on Managing Human Resources at Workplace

Mysuru: Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development (SDM-IMD), Mysuru, is organising the 8th International Conference on ‘Managing Human Resources at the Workplace’ on Dec. 6 and 7.

 The conference will be inau-    gurated by internationally renowned Professor Dr. Susanne Wilpers, Director — International Programmes, Faculty of Business and Transport Management, Heilbronn University, Germany. 

Distinguished speakers from India and abroad, such as Dr. Ashly H. Pinnington, Dean of Research, British University in Dubai and S.J. Tajas, CEO, GI TAGGED, Bengaluru, will deliver the invited talks, during the event. In a panel discussion, distinguished women leaders likes Suchitra Royroth, Vice-President — Operations, Cyient DLM;  Mary Vinay Uttarkar, Training Consultant, Theorem Inc; Nisha, Manager — HR, Mypol and Dr. Juin Choudhury, Director, Acharya School of Management, Bengaluru, will deliberate on the issues and challenges for women executives at work.  

A pre-conference workshop is also scheduled to be held on Dec. 5 at SDM-IMD campus on ‘HR Metrics and Analytics.’ Apart from the invited sessions on HR Metrics and Analytics, an expert panel consisting of Goutham, Manager — HRIR, RadicoKhaitan Ltd; S.H. Pavan Kumar, HR-Business Partner, Mysuru & Halol, ABB India Limited; Arkadip Ghosh, Manager – HR Meritor & AAL, Mysuru and Dr. Balu, HoD, School of Commerce and Economics, Presidency University, Bengaluru, will discuss ‘Using Data for Effective HRM.’
