Issue of Trade Licence

July 8, 2018

Sir,

On enquiring about the delay in issuing Trade Licence by Mysuru City Corporation (MCC), I was surprised to learn that since February 2018, there are some issues for generating the trade licences “online” and MCC is still sorting out the issues.

When the staff at various zonal offices of MCC feeds all the necessary inputs to generate the trade licence,  they are unable to get the print out of the trade licence.

Karnataka being a pioneer in computer technology, I wonder why the outsourced agency for computer applications in MCC is lacking the skills or man-power to set right the issues.

Probably merit of the competing outsourced agencies would have taken a backseat under other considerations.
