Jai Chamundi Shooting Academy shooters bag 24 medals

Mysuru: The shooters from Jai Chamundi Target Shooting Academy in city, who participated in shooting competitions recently, have bagged 24 medals.

The shooters have bagged 7 gold and 4 silver in Tumkur Dasara Shooting Championship; 1 gold medal in South Zone Shooting Championship in which three shooters were qualified to take part in the Nationals and also bagged 4 gold, 1 silver and 7 bronze in State-level Shooting Championship.

The shooters and their shooting events are as follows:

Air Pistol: M.N. Mahesh, D. Chiranth, Karnik Shivdas, Rohith Jevoor, H. Koushik, G. Santosh Kumar, C. Pramod Kumar and Niharika S. Jadhav.

Air Rifle: Preetham Jevoor, H. Prem, Leoank R. Gowda, Naren Aiyappa and Anushree Jakkanatti.

Open Sight Rifle: Kranthi Kumar Natekar, Rushank R. Bhat, S. Manjunath, R.P. Jyeshta, M.C. Darshan, Samarth Anil, Arnav A. Sharma, Rishi Raj Shaw and M.S. Krishnaa.

The shooters were coached by Sports Authority of India certified coach P. Jayanth.
