Janjatiya Gaurav Divas: SWR Mysuru interacts with Bandipur School students

Mysore/Mysuru: South Western Railway (SWR) Mysuru Division observed Janjatiya Gaurav Divas on 15.11.2022 to commemorate the birth anniversary of  Bhagwan Birsa Munda, the iconic Freedom Fighter and Tribal leader of the country.

 The Government of India in 2021 had declared 15th November as Janjatiya Gaurav Divas dedicated to the memory of the brave tribal freedom fighter. SWR Mysuru observed this day by holding interactive sessions with the tribals of Bandipur forest in Gundlupet taluk of Chamarajanagar district and highlighted the significance of the day.

Apart from this, various other activities and games were also conducted for children of Bandipur Mangala Government School. Later prizes were also distributed to students, according to a press release from Dr. Manjunath Kanamadi, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager and Sr.PRO.
