Bengaluru: The ‘Janata Jaladhare Yatra,’ launched by JD(S) on Apr. 16 on Hanuma Jayanthi day demanding implementation of various pending irrigation projects in the State, will conclude with a public function to be held near Nelamangala Toll Plaza on May 13.
A Core Committee meeting of the party was recently held in the party office to finalise the arrangements for the big public function planned for the occasion.
Speaking after the meeting, Core Committee President Bandeppa Kashampur said that ‘Janata Jaladhare Yatra’ is successfully moving in184 Assembly segments of the State. Holy water collected from various parts of Karnataka during the Yatra will be collected in a big container and will be worshipped.
It is speculated that the JD(S)will kickstart its election campaign for the 2023 Assembly elections on that day.
