JD(S) MLA M.C. Managuli passes away

Bengaluru: JD(S) MLA from Sindagi Assembly Constituency and former Horticulture Minister M.C. Managuli passed away at a hospital in Bengaluru this morning. He was 85. He is survived by his wife, four sons and a daughter. 

Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa in his condolence message said, “I am deeply saddened by the demise of JD(S) MLA from Sindagi Constituency M.C. Managuli. The State has lost a senior leader. May his soul rest in peace.”

Managuli was airlifted from Kalaburagi domestic airport to Bengaluru after he complained of severe breathing problems on Jan. 9.  Although the doctors tried hard to save Managuli, his health condition deteriorated and he failed to respond to the treatment, sources said.

 No information has been given on the place and timing of last rites.
