May 9, 2017

Mysuru: City Police Commissioner Dr. A. Subrahmanyeswara Rao, on May 5, has issued a Suspension Order to Metagalli Police Constable for supporting a jeweller and threatening a person over  gold business.

The suspended Constable has been identified as C.S. Ravi Gowda, attached to Metagalli Police Station in city.

It is reported that the jeweller, identified as Manohar Singh of Manmandir Jewels at Lokamanya Tilak Nagar in Metagalli had allegedly cheated many people by floating many schemes and collecting money from the public and is already facing criminal charges against him. In the meantime, a business feud surfaced between Manohar Singh and one Sureshkumar Rawathar of Vijayanagar over gold business. Constable Ravigowda, who came to know about this, is said to have supported Manohar Singh and threatened Sureshkumar.

Sureshkumar, then lodged a complaint with City Police Sommissioner Dr. A. Subrahmanyeswara Rao, who sought a report from N.R. Sub-Division ACP and issued Suspension Order pending Departmental Enquiry.
