Mysuru:  A journalist, his wife and son sustained serious injured when two cars collided head-on near Kalenahalli on Mysuru-Bengaluru highway in Mandya taluk yesterday.

The injured are journalist Nesara Kadanakuppe, his wife Megha and son Akshara. They were proceeding on the highway towards Mysuru, when another car proceeding towards Bengaluru, hit the median and collided head-on with their car near Kalenahalli.

All the injured have been admitted to a private hospital in city. A case has been registered at Mandya Rural Police Station in this regard.
