JSS College staff killed as cars collide

Mysore/Mysuru: A 40 year-old man was killed on the spot in a head-on collision between two cars on Mysuru-T. Narasipur Road yesterday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Lokesh, a First Division Assistant (FDA) at JSS PU College in Saraswathipuram and a resident of Paduvarahalli here.

Lokesh was proceeding in his car (KA-09-P-8623) towards T. Narasipur when another car (KA-09-MF-3695) driven by one Siddaraju, which was proceeding from T. Narasipur side collided head with Lokesh’s car killing Lokesh on the spot.

Sources said that there were two more persons travelling with Lokesh and one of them has sustained serious injuries. Siddaraju too has sustained serious injuries and has been admitted to a hospital, sources added.
