November 19, 2019

Mysuru: As part of third Monday of Karthika Maasa, special puja and Deepotsava was held at the Nandi Statue premises atop Chamundi Hill by JSS Hospital Employees Association.

Special pujas and prasadam distribution was done under the leadership of Association President Chandrashekar.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the ritual of performing special pujas and distributing prasadam is being done every year on third Karthika Monday for the past 18 years.

On the occasion, special decoration will be done by Hospital staff and Deepotsava will be held. But this year, as the road connecting to Nandi statue had caved-in, more devotees could not make it to the event, he said.
