The three-day Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Swamiji Memorial JSS Inter-Institutional Sports Meet will be held at Suttur in Nanjangud taluk from Dec. 6 to 8.

Minister for School Education and Literacy Madhu Bangarappa will inaugurate the Sports Meet at 4 pm on Dec. 6, in the presence of Suttur Mutt Seer  Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji.

Minister for Fisheries, Ports and Inland Water Transport Mankala S. Vaidya will preside. International Weight Lifter Pushparaj Hegde and noted Social Worker Pushpalatha Mankala Vaidya will be the chief guests.

The event will be held under three categories — 1) Primary, High and Public Schools; 2) PU, ITI and Polytechnic Colleges and 3) Engineering, Medical, Dental Sciences, Ayurveda, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, B.Ed, D.Ed, Law, Degree and Post-Graduate  Degree Colleges.
