K. Dayananda (57), an astrologer at Mata Mandira on Adipampa Road in Gokulam 2nd Stage and son of late Krishnamurthy of Manchegowdanakoppal, passed away yesterday following a heart attack in city.

He leaves behind his mother Pramilamma, wife Veena, son Gurukiran and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill this noon, according to family sources.
