Former Mysuru Taluk Panchayat President Kalavathamma (71) passed away at Huyilalu in the taluk on Friday morning.

She leaves behind her husband Javaregowda, a retired School teacher, three sons including Raghu, a Nagawala Gram Panchayat Member, three daughters and a host of relatives and friends.

She had served as Mysuru TP President in 2001. Her last rites were performed at Huyilalu burial ground last evening.
