Kanaka Marga Awards presentation in city tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: To commemorate Kanaka Jayanti, Akhila Karnataka Kanaka Mattu Rayanna Samskrutika Trust, Akhila Karnataka Kanaka Mattu Rayanna Nowkarara Okoota and Mahadasa Sri Bhakta Kanakadasa Seva Samiti have jointly organised a function to confer ‘Kanaka Marga’ Awards at Ganesh Bhandar Circle in T.K. Layout  tomorrow (Dec. 16) at 5.30 pm.

Journalist Amshi Prasanna Kumar (Media), Mimicry Gopal (arts), Dr. Abdul Khader (Medical), Dr. Lingadalli Halappa, Dr. D. Ravi and Dr. K.E. Govindegowd (Literature) and R. Mahadeva (Social Service) will be presented ‘Kanaka Awards’ by former Minister H.M. Revanna.

Later, an entertainment programme by Mimicry artiste Gopi has been organised as part of the event.

State President of the Trust Dr. Mahesh Chikkallur will anchor the programme. M. Shivakumar and Mahendra Kaginele will be present on the occasion, according to a press release.
