Kandrathanda Janaki (70), daughter of late Sahukar Posappa (Venkataiah) of Ashokapuram in Mysuru and wife of Kandrathanda A. Nachappa, passed away on Nov. 28 at her residence in Bengaluru.

A native of Ammathi in Kodagu, she leaves behind her husband Sannu Nachappa, son Rishi Nachappa, daughter Rakshitha Nachappa and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at Raghavendra Estate in Hosur, Ammathi, South Kodagu this morning, according to family sources.

Condoled

 Chamarajanagar MP V. Sreenivasa Prasad, who has condoled the demise of Janaki, said that he was the classmate of Janaki at NTM School in Ashokapuram.

The MP added that she had served at Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA) and retired from service.
