Mysuru: With the countdown for the 83rd three-day Akhila Bharatha Kannada Sahitya Sammelana (Nov.24 to 26) begin, District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa held a preparatory meeting with top officials at Government Guest House in Nazarbad this morning.

Addressing the meeting, Dr. Mahadevappa said that it was Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar who founded Kannada Sahitya Parishat and in this backdrop, the hosting of the meet in Mysuru assures special significance.

Pointing out that over 10,000 delegates from different districts are expected to take part in the meet, he directed the officials to make all necessary arrangements at the venue, Maharaja’s College Grounds.
