Karnataka State U-9 Open Chess Tourney in city from tomorrow

The Mysore Chess Centre, under the aegis of the UKCA, will be conducting the Karnataka State U-9 Open Chess Tournament 2019-20 for boys and girls from Jan. 17 to 19, at the Mysore Mall premises.

The Tournament will be played on a Swiss League basis of nine rounds.

The top players taking part in the Open Boys section are, Aman George Thomas, Sarthak Sharma, Yuvanesh, Apaar Saxena and P. Chanakya.

In the Open Girls section, Mandya’s M.H. Yadvithi is the top seed. Mydhili Sathyan, H.D. Anisha, Aadya Ranganath and N.V. Ankitha are the other top players who will be seen in action.
