Karnataka’s first WAKO Kickboxing Camp in city

The five-day National WAKO Kickboxing Training Camp, sanctioned by the World Association of Kickboxing Organisation (WAKO), organised by India Kickboxing Federation jointly with Academy of Self Defence (ASD), Mysuru, began on Oct.12 at The President hotel premises here.

Italian coach Manuel Norido from Italy is in-charge of the camp which is attended by around 200 kickboxers from 23 States.

The training consists of two divisions, namely ring sports and tatami sports. The camp features technical sessions, sparring sessions, conditioning, pad workouts and training with heavy bags, tyres and ropes, according to Pooja Harsha, CEO of ASD Fight Club, Mysuru.
