August 1, 2019

Mysuru: Lashkar Police have handed over a woman from Kasaragod in Kerala to her family members in Kodagu.

On Tuesday night, the woman, identified as Jaseela, was found standing alone on Chandragupta Road in city by the public, who in turn informed Lashkar Police. The Police, who arrived at the spot, took her to the Police Station and on enquiry, they (Police) came to know that her name was Jaseela of Charavaturu village in Kasaragod.

As Jaseela did not provide information about her kith and kin, she was housed at Shaktidhama in city, where she created ruckus and told the personnel there that she would not stay at Shaktidhama and requested to be sent home.

Finally, Lashkar Police contacted her sister Unnaisa at Yemmemaadu in Madikeri and handed over Jaseela to Unnaisa yesterday.
