Kidney patient tests positive for Covid, dies

A 62-year-old man, who had tested positive for Covid-19 succumbed at a hospital in city recently. The deceased, a resident of Kollegal in Chamarajanagar district, was suffering from kidney related ailment and was on a regular dialysis. He had been referred to Narayana Hrudayalaya in city, for further treatment. As it is mandatory to conduct Covid test, the samples of the patient was collected, which had tested positive for Covid. He died on May 25, Dr. D.G. Nagaraj, District Surveillance Officer, told Star of Mysore.
