Kodagu gets new DC

January 31, 2019

Madikeri: IAS Officer Annies Kanmani Joy has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Kodagu.

Her appointment comes after P.I. Sreevidya, who was serving as Kodagu DC, went on a two-month leave some time ago. With Sreevidya going on a long leave, Kodagu ZP CEO K. Lakshmipriya had taken charge as the Acting DC of Kodagu.

Both Sreevidya and  Lakshmipriya had earned public appreciation for their relief and rehabilitation works after floods and landslips ravaged  the district in August last.
