Konganda Dotty Biddappa (Pattada), wife of late K.G. Biddappa, retired Joint Director of Agriculture, passed away at her daughter’s residence in Vijayanagar here this morning. She was 93.

She leaves behind her daughter Prof. Latha Biddappa (former English Professor of Maharaja’s College and retd. Principal of University Evening College), three sons — Ben Cariappa, Dilip Biddappa (MD of The Roost Hotel) and Ajith Biddappa — daughters-in-law Anitha, Rene and Marissa, grandchildren Gautham, Diren, Rochelle and Dhyan and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites will be performed at her native village Seegethod in Gonikoppal, Kodagu, tomorrow (July 19) at 3 pm.
