Openers M. Venkatesh (122, 153b, 10x4s, 5×6) and Kruthik Krishna (104 n.o., 146b, 10×4,2×6) scored centuries and their opening wicket partnership of 236-runs helped Mysuru Zone to register a 57-run win over Dharwad Zone in the KSCA Inter-Mofussil Tournament for U-19 played at Administrative Management College Grounds in Bengaluru yesterday.

Batting first, Mysuru Zone took heavy toll of Dharwad Zone’s bowlers and scored 242 for one in 50 overs. M. Venkatesh (122) and Kruthik Krishna (104 n.o.) batted well and took the Dharwad bowling to task. In reply, Dharwad zone given a revised target of 209 runs to get in 43 overs, scored 151 for seven in 43 overs. Mysuru Zone won by 57-runs and have 12 points from their three games so far and lead the table.
