KSRTC bus conductor dies after falling from moving bus

Nanjangud: The conductor of a Mysuru-bound KSRTC bus, who was standing on foot board has died after he accidentally fell from the moving bus near Mallanamoole Mutt in Nanjangud yesterday morning.

Mahadevaswamy (35), a native of Halepura village in Harave hobli of Chamarajanagar, is the deceased.

On receiving the information, Nanjangud Dy.SP Raghu, Town Police Station PSI Basavaraju, Traffic Police Station PSI Jayaprakash visited the spot for inspection.

Mahadevaswamy’s body was handed over to relatives after post-mortem at Nanjangud Government Hospital. Last rites were performed at his native place yesterday evening.

CM Personal Secretary C.T. Kumar, KSRTC Divisional Controller H. Veeresh and staff consoled the grieving family members. Ex-gratia of Rs. 15,000 was given to bereaved family members.
