Music Varsity Registrar passes away

Mysore/Mysuru: The city’s KSGH Music and Performing Arts University Registrar M.R. Rajesh (54) passed away here on Wednesday following brief illness. A resident of Vijayanagar third stage in the city, he leaves behind his wife, son and a host of relatives and friends.

A KAS Officer, Rajesh had served as Tirthahalli Tahsildar, Mandya Assistant Commissioner, Chamundi Hill temple Administrative Officer, KIADB Special Land Acquisition Officer and in other posts, before being appointed as Music University Registrar in Sept. 2023.

His last rites were performed on Friday at Muktidhama in Vijayanagar Fourth stage with Police honours as per State Protocol. Tributes were paid to Rajesh at a condolence meeting held at the Music Varsity premises on Thursday.
