KSRTC bus damaged as tree branch falls

Mysore/Mysuru: The front glass of a KSRTC bus was damaged, when a dry branch of a tree fell on it near Sub-Urban Bus Stand here at the start of Irwin Road on Sunday.

The KSRTC Bus (KA-45-F-0004), belonging to Periyapatna Depot, which ply on Mysuru-Kodagu route, departed from city’s Sub-Urban Bus Stand yesterday morning. When it came out of the bus stand and proceeded towards the Arch Gate, a dry branch fell on the front glass of the bus resulting in the glass getting cracked.

The bus driver has lodged a complaint at Siddarthanagar Traffic Police Station.
